About Lidya’s Optical
I am proud to say that I’m a licensed optician in the state of Massachusetts. I graduated from Benjamin Franklin institute of technology with an Associate of Science in Opticianry in 2010 and finished with my bachelor of science degree in organizational leadership in 2012. I have enjoyed this profession from the day I started back in 2006 it helped me find my passion and it allowed me to grow professionally in the many different roles that I have enjoyed, and meet some amazing people .
Lidya’s Optical is inspired by simply family. My family left Egypt in 2000 to move here for better opportunity. Being the oldest of three has taught me to be a leader at nine years old when I had to help my parents survive our new world that has been our home since . Our home town is Norwood, MA which had created amazing childhood memories for me, my brother Abe and my sister Madonna .
I now have my own family, my husband Mina who is my supporter and we have been married for an amazing 10 years, and two handsome very active boys Daniel and Alexander who keep me on my toes 24/7. Being a mom has taught me sacrifice, multitasking, leadership, how to balance time and the most important thing is family is always the number one priority especially when you have others that truly depend on you.
Lidya’s Optical will add a family friendly/affordable fun optical shop to the Attleboro, Ma community to help as many people as possible to meet their vision needs. If you need basic or the best lens technology on the market we have it all. By educating our patients and providing information regarding their prescription and how I can give them the best possible vision in a pair of glasses is my priority. My favorite moments is when patients put on their new updated eyeglasses/sunglasses and say “wow this is what I have been missing out on” makes my day every time.
Lidya’s Optical is located inside county square compounding pharmacy in Attleboro, MA. Partnering with my brother Abram Agayby who is the owner/pharmacist has made this journey so exciting. We have always helped our parents in the restaurant business for many years and now we have our own professional business plans and no better way then to do it with family .
